July 2025 AFPHS Training – 6Cs Training & Implementation Guide

TFAH is very excited to announce the publication of the AFPHS 6Cs Training and Implementation Guide (6Cs Guide). The 6Cs Guide is designed to increase knowledge and expertise in public health roles in improving and supporting older adult health and well-being at all levels. The 6Cs Guide was developed by TFAH in partnership with the Association for State and Territorial Health Officials, the National Association of County and City Health Officials, and the National Network of Public Health Institutes and piloted by teams in ten state’s public health institutes. It provides background information and context, learning objectives, training activities, and recommendations for partnerships, data collection, state and community-wide assessment, and considerations for alignment with other frameworks (e.g., the 10 Essential Public Health Services).

The July AFPHS Training will provide an in-depth look at the guide and walk participants through its components and how to use them.
