A recent report by Harvard University’s Joint Center for Housing Studies – Housing America’s Older Adults 2023 – examined the dual burden of housing and care faced by older residents. This presentation will incorporate insights from this report as well as other recent research describing a set of housing factors that impact the ability of older adults to live in the community with independence and safety. This presentation will also help practitioners use a housing lens to consider the social determinants of older adult health.
