Social isolation and loneliness have become major issues during the COVID pandemic, with older adults separated from their families and with limited opportunities for engagement. All sectors have a role to play to increase and improve engagement among older adults, especially during a pandemic. TFAH’s third AFPHS training focused on the impact of social isolation on older adults and how communities have pivoted to create social engagement opportunities.
