Libraries are innovation hubs that continue to develop and execute programs in the community. Many of these programs are geared toward older adults. Local departments of health have developed strong relationships with libraries to provide opportunities for social engagement and a central location for community-based resources. The December AFPHS training highlights partnerships between libraries and departments of health, and strategies on how to start partnering with local libraries.
