AFPHS September 2026 Webinar – Advancing Healthy Aging Through Public Health Accreditation

Health departments can strengthen their capacity to promote well-being across the life course by more intentionally addressing the needs of older adults through programs, policies, partnerships, and community health improvement efforts. The next AFPHS training will explore new guidance from the Public Health Accreditation Board on the alignment between the standards and measures and an age-friendly public health approach. Participants will learn how they can incorporate more age-inclusive strategies in their work and help ensure that healthy aging is recognized as an essential component of public health practice.
